Manage Teams

Teams are a vital part of today’s business world. Most business units or projects work in teams. One of the hardest things to do is to maximise the quality of the team’s performance in the day-to-day business environment.

We use Belbin Team Roles to develop an understanding of each individual’s strengths and weaknesses in a team environment, and devise strategies to improve team effectiveness.

These workshops apply team theory in a practical way, letting participants “play” with the Belbin roles and understand how to use them. Taking an individual view, the workshops also show participants how they can be most effective in a team, as well as areas that may benefit from professional development.

For a manager, Team Roles provide the means to communicate accurately and without emotion, and to decide what team balance is required for excellence in each work situation. It also helps resolve operational problems arising from teams which are not performing as well as expected.
