We like to feel we’re making a difference. Among our long term relationships, we’ve been privileged to work for the Department of the House of Representatives who perform the vital role of supporting the work of the lower house in the Parliament of Australia. Their role is complex and diverse, founded on centuries of Westminster tradition, yet necessarily innovative and responsive to emerging needs. We helped facilitate the development of the next Corporate Plan for the Department.

The Department has a large number of staff, many of whom have intensive face-to-face contact with Government and Opposition MPs. Our workshop programme tapped into the enthusiasm of the staff, and their adoption of the Investors In People programme, to assess issues and develop possible approaches to deal with significant long term change. It is vital to ensure enduring ownership of the strategy and so we involved over half the Department in the planning day.
